Well!!!! I think Colin Firth is lovely and talented!! I just think Gerard Butler would be a better Rollo whereas I can see Colin Firth as more of a James Graham. :o

LOL< OMG. I did not mean to put down Jamie's name. I was thinking of Dian'a's Jamie. That's what happens when you aren't concentrating on what you are writing. I seriously meant he isn't, in my mind, Rollor material.

HUMPH!!! I was not thinking of Colin for ANY of these characters. As he play the perfect Mr. Darcy in P&P I rather find I prefer him in 19thc era not 18th.
I still love him and besides he is a man after my own heart. He is a jazz head.

I think he is too quiet/not forceful enough to pull it off. I loved him as Darcy though. I was also thinking Eric Bana would be good for Rollo.

Oooo Zina Eric Bana!! YES! that's a good one for Rollo. I would not pick Colin for any of Veronica's characters personally. I just felt no one was showing him any love period.
He is totally a Jane Austen type character. Although he was quite lovely in Valmont. Did you happen to see him in that role? He was such an ass!
BTW has anyone seen the gorgeous Andy Whitfield from Spartacus Blood and Sand the new show on Starz? He has the most amazing eyes! Oh and they look blue grey on film.
OK, the first link, he is more of a Rollo to me then any of the others Veronica posted.

Is it me, or does Rollo come across as more the studious type. I mean, he is a warrior, sure, and with his legs being the way they are, I thought he was more ... the best of both worlds, you know, ... warriorly skills as well as studies ... just a thought.

Mmmm Daniel Craig...wow Gayle coming up with some yummy men for Rollo! Funny I did picture him as a cross between the two men. I love the idea of him being studious but also a warrior as well.
He also seemed to be the most sensitive of all the men.

Yes, and he frustrated the dickens out of me when I was reading 'Lord' too. LOL I was thinking "why doesn't he just kiss her and accept what happens. But there you go. I much prefer V.'s version to be perfectly honest. The ending was fantastic, my lady. I loved it. Oh to be able to write like that. sigh

It is so nice to have authors who don't mind when we, the readers, take their book and discuss it. Not that we are ever rude or anything, but to be able to say what we think and the author not get offended is great!
