Although I had a unique idea of Rollo's looks by the end of the book, to get going, I had some pictures of one of these actors to inspire me. I'd love to see your votes, then I'll weigh in at the end and confess! :) Please let me know if *you* had someone entirely different in mind!!

I have an entirely different picture in my head. I loved the choices you put up though and had to think about it alot.

I must know, Sarah! What was the picture you had in your head? Was it someone specific?
— veronica Mon, 12/28/2009 - 10:11am
I don't know if I can describe what I think Rollo looks like to me. HE would have the body Gerard had in 3000, but taller. I will look around and see if I can't find a picture close to what I think he looks like.

I was just curious. I'm going to give this poll one more week before I confess who my inspiration was. I think it'll surprise people! :) (hmm, then again, maybe I *shouldn't* say!!) Then I'm going to run the fabulous poll you emailed me, Sarah!

Ok, here is a close version of what I picture Rollo to look like. Ted McGinley. You will know him from Married with Children. My version would be they way he looks when he played the English Teacher on Happy Days. (He was more youthful then.)

This isn't the picture I wanted, but it was the only one I could find!

Okay, everyone! Here's *my* answer!! Christian Bale! =) Not all pictures of him, but I had a very specific shot of the actor, and that was my starting point for Rollo. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original, here's one that comes close.
Whaddya think? Do you want to know my MacColla picture? It's a *shocker*!!

Ewen was a guy who existed solely in my own head. James was just James--there are so many dashing portraits of him, he really was an amalgam of them. Ah, but MacColla...shall I do a poll, or just spill the beans?!
— veronica Tue, 02/02/2010 - 12:45pm
Well, it is entirely up to you, of-course!! I just don't know whether I'll be able to hang out until the end!! LOL Oh! What the heck, go with the poll!! I certainly need some suspense in my life!! LOL
