A V website EXCLUSIVE

You heard it here first ladies...  I am SO THRILLED to announce I'm signing a second contract with my lovely, wonderful, fabulous editor at Berkley/Penguin to launch a *second* series next year.  Are you sitting down?  Wait for it....

I'm launching a young adult vampire series!!!!  I am SO thrilled about it.  I sat down one night on a whim to fiddle around with the idea, and it just barrelled out of me.  The series will be told in the first person (!), and will follow one girl as she leaves her abusive home to train with other girls as an assassin/guard for a coven of male vampires living on an isle in the far north of Scotland.  It'll be dark, and sexy (in a not-too-naughty YA sorta way), with lots of action and the requisite teenaged anguish.  I pitched it as La Femme Nikita meets Mean Girls.  I AM SO EXCITED!  =)

That is so exciting!!!! You are going to have to give more more of an exclusive when I talk live with you on my show in about 2 weeks. I love young adult vampire novels very much and what you are planning to write it right on the money with what I really would enjoy reading. CONGRATS! I'm so happy for you and for us your readers who will enjoy getting our hands on this young adult series.

I am so excited for you V! I told my sister about your concept and she was like WHEN AND WHERE I'M ON BOARD! LOL. You know I love when you write a strong Heroine. They are my favorite kind. I would love a repeat of Haley! ;-)

~Lizzie

Thank you thank you!!! I'm excited to talk to you about it, Phoebe!! =)

How exciting! I can't believe it, isn't it fun when the idea just happens and flows and you can run with it? I am happy this one was accepted as well and I know it will be a huge success!

~Sarah~

FABulous!! let's hear it for the next JK Rowling!!!! wooooooooo!!!

=D Thanks, everyone!!!!!

You are more then welcome! This clearly shows you devoted Veronica groupies!

~Sarah~

You ladies are THE BEST. =)

We are the best aren't we? LOL!! What's really good is that you have an editor with an open mind and ear.

~Lizzie

The new series sounds interesting, to say the least!!!!! If it is anything like your 'Highlander' series it will be fabulous!!!! Gayle

Thanks, Gayle! I just handed the first one in, and am SO excited about it. (Let's just hope my editor ends up being *as* excited...LOL!)

She better ! Besides, we know we will love it, so that is all that counts! ;)

~Sarah~

I am not worried. It will be brilliant! (nothing like putting the pressure on!)

~Lizzie

We wouldn't be Veronica groupies if we didn't apply a little pressure and total faith! We are also here to bonk your editor over the head or use hidden messages in her cheerios to persuade her if she doesn't like it!

~Sarah~

LMAO!! here, here Sarah! So true.

~Lizzie

LOL!! Amen to that Sarah!! I'm really good bonking people on the head with a French Loaf (long loaf of bread, like a bread stick only more substantial and longer) too!!! LOL

Gayle

I am such a dork. What kind of message will she get in her Cheerios besides ooooo? I meant alphabet cereal.

~Sarah~

HA!!! I come back after a few days away, and lookie what y'all are planning. I like the ooooo message, Sarah. *giggle*

You are most welcome!

~Sarah~

LOL, you guys crack me up!!

Gayle

Isn't it fun in here!

~Sarah~

Sarah if the cereal is broken you could potentially get oc!

LOL!!!

~Lizzie

LOL< the bird man speak.... coo, coo! IS he telling me I'm crazy? That's what would come from my cereal.

~Sarah~

LOL

Gayle

You are coo-coo for cocoa puffs! LOL
