Is it supposed to say "My Scottish lover."? Congratulations!

~Sarah~

According to a translation web site, it's My Scottish Knight. I've got a friend who speaks German, though...will ask her!

dude has some serious biceps...and um...a really big sword. *cough*

Don't ya love it when they have a big sword!

~Sarah~

WOW that IS a big sword! I love his little leather man-cuffs.

Do you like guys with long hair? I do, as long as it is well kept, but some men carry it very well.

~Sarah~

hmm...it depends on the man, I suppose. I like scruffy, for sure. But ponytails are a big no-no!!

Yah, let it hang loose baby!

~Sarah~

I love LONG HAIR. The longer the Better! Wild and loose or tamed in a pony tail (remember Mr. Sensitive Ponytail??). As long as I can run my fingers through it. I don't know if I ever told you gusy but a long time ago I worked for a Music Store and of course I lived and breathed musicians. I saw some interesting hairstyles! and met some famous and not so famous people.

When I was in my mid twenties I got the opportunity to hang out with Alice in Chains for a few days. The original band. The original bassist Mike had lovely wavey soft brown locks and was from my area so we instantly clicked. Sigh....he let me play in that hair all night. Him and the original drummer Sean who's poker straight raven locks were to die for! He was very tall and in really good shape. He looked scary but was the funniest of the bunch. He gave me all his earrings in his ears that night! I have no idea why but hey never question.

They just thought I was so cool (I have no idea why I just started playing myself and being naturally inquisitive I innudated them with questions) and they wanted me to tour with them. YEAH RIGHT. NOT. No groupie here but if I had more experience as a musician I would have loved to have been a tech for them. I was already a roadie for my friends band so I am sure I could have picked it up but alas here I am an old fart taking you down memory lane. LOL!!

Oh what were we talking about? LOL!

~Lizzie

Long hair Lizzie! That sounds very interesting, how cool! DO you have pics?

~Sarah~

vvrrrrow! You go, Lizzie! Playing in his long locks all night, eh? ;) I sense a secret past life!!!!! Seriously, how fun.

LMAO!! Oh I got secrets baby! I GOT SECRETS!!! (I got my george castanza voice on here)

And I do too I put it on under my arms keeps me dry all day.

>:-D hee-hee.

~Lizzie

LOL!! Love the George C. voice. =)

I should be George Castanza...did I just type that out loud? LOL

~Lizzie

Hey Lizzie - I went out with Axl Rose before he was Axl and just plain ol' Billy Bailey.

Also was a HUGE (H U G E) Van Halen groupie and tried very hard to get into David Lee Roth's bed, but closest I ever got was one of the roadies on a tour bus.

I LOVED the long hair musician bad boys. I was my sisters' road manager when they were touring with Lilith Fair and had way too much fun. :-)

Oooo I am too jealous of you Pammy! I know Axel er um Bill is a bad boy but damn it I love him! I saw GNR quite few times along with my other faves like Soundgarden. Remember motherlovebone? Chris Cornell...sigh...Now that man I would have done anything for. Hmmm I still would! LOL Miss the long hair though.

Me and Pammy simpatico sigh...

~Lizzie

Axl Rose is from Lafayette which is only 15 miles from me.

~Sarah~

And Sarah you never met the man? Gasp! you know he really has an awesome voice and I would have loved to hear him sing gospel. I thought that the first time I heard him sing Sweet Child of Mine.

~Lizzie

I have been past his parents house many times but not met him, no.

~Sarah~

I wonder where he lives now. It seems strange to me to have sucess that quickly and then it just go away like it never happened. Many times I think what a wasted talent!

~Lizzie

He is singing now with a new band. I do not like his blonde dreadlock look at all!

~Sarah~

Pam, first the whole chainmail thing and now Axl? Girl, you are FULL of surprises!

lol...AND John Vanbeisbrouck when I was going through my hockey-groupie thing. That's a good story - i'll tell ya some day. Yeah - I've had a really strange but very interesting life...I'm one of those annoying people who knows a little bit about a lot of things, so I'm great for Trivial Persuit games.

Conversation last night kicked me into fantasies of marketing chainmail underwear to kinky renaissance fetishists, and I may even try to create a prototype this weekend - joined at the sides by HUGE Satin bows, natch. Creepy, but cute.

Ok - in the interest not making me feel like a complete freak, I know require one hilarious heretofore unknown bit of information about you guys.

pffft!

and PS: If there's a LORD thread - I couldn't find it, so let me say here that Veronica, you have me giggling through this book so far! I really like felicity - she's kind of flakey.

OMG...chainmail naughty bits! I am SO sure you'd find an audience!! Glad you're liking Felicity...she's very different from Haley, to say the least.

As for previously unknown bits of info...hmmm...I really can't think of anything. (Well, at least anything that I'd share online and without first consuming a margarita or two...) X:)

Pam you had me laughing so hard (guffawing really) last night with the chainmail that I woke Steve up! LOL!! I telling ya baby Vicky Secret and if you make it down to Philly you are bringing me a chain mail thong. Yep I am booking my order RIGHT NOW! LOL

~Lizzie

Well I have said it a million times but I love this last book because Felicity is flaky and like me asked a million questions sometimes. LOL I couldn't stop laughing. And of course I love Rollo because he gets so perturbed by her behavior. There was an easiness between the characters that just made the book move so quickly for me.

~Lizzie

I loved the book!!!!!!!! I hated his mother and Jamie!!!!!!!!!Rollo was strong, determined, and passionate, once he found his passion.
I won't go into more since people are still reading but later, maybe we can have a discussion!

~Sarah~

OK, you want information on us. Is it supposed to be... what, what kind of info? I have not dated anyone famous, though I have met some. Hmmm, what have I done that is interesting? When I was 15, me and some other dancers from my studio auditioned and were accepted to participate in the 1987 Grand Am Opening ceremonies that were held in Indianapolis! Have you heard of this? IT was very interesting and ALOT of fun!

~Sarah~

Hmmm interesting things about me...Geesh. Okay when I was 14 they held auditions at my school for a teen dance show called Dancing on Air. It was broadcast from Philly (just like American bandstand). I danced my way onto the show. I was on there a few times but never went back because I felt I didn't fit in with all the kewl kids. Oh I met Kim Fields and her nasty mother that day. Hee-hee.

I have some other tidbits but I think for the most part I pretty much lead a boring life. Heck that's why I write! LOL!!

~Lizzie

Pam, I did have a Lord Thread LOL You know the one where I am poking fun a ya'll because I got the book first? Hee-hee

~Lizzie

You girls have me feeling soooooooo old!!!! LOL Gayle

You and me both, Gayle! Old and mundane... Hey, I met Shirley Jones once--does that count for something? LOL!

LMAO!! V did you ask where David Cassidy was? If I met Shirley Jones I would:

A. Bust out singing a song from Oklahoma
B. Ask her how big her waist really was when she did Oklahoma/Carousal.
C. Could she get me a date with Shaun Cassidy

AND

D. What happened to the Patridge bus????

~Lizzie

Lizzie, you are so funny! You know someone has that bus in their garage polishing it every other day!

~Sarah~

LOL yeah probably planting their rear in David's seat going .. Ooooo David sat here. LOL Did they really get on the bus I don't remember them being on it. LOL

Course I was just a youngin' when the show was on (er...ahem...um)

~Lizzie

LOL ... I was not that young when the Partridge Family was on and I loved watching it too. ... LOL

Gayle

I love the cover V. Is his hair real do you suppose, or just a wig???? I hope it's real, I could play with it for hours (sigh)!!!! LOL

Gayle

Good one Gayle, I love his hair too!

~Sarah~

Ditto...looks pretty real to me. That's some big part there. And, Lizzie, of course I thought of a zillion things I *could've* said to Ms. Jones after the fact. Isn't that always the way?? She was quite gracious, though, and pretty much exactly how you'd picture Shirley Jones to be.

LOL, V, I never paid any attention to his big part, I was just hoping he had a "big part!"

~Sarah~
