Caig Falls and the Witch's Pool Any Highland witch worth her salt will, at some point, take the form of a cat. This is a photo of the Caig Falls, flowing from the River Caig in the hills north of Achnacarry. The deep pool is called the Witch's Cauldron, or Witch's Pool, in celebration of those clansmen who once chased a witch, in the form of a cat, over these falls to her death. |
