My Scottish HeroCongratulations, Veronica. "Sword of the Highlands" will be out in Germany any day now. I just received a proof-copy of "Mein schottischer Held" (My Scottish Hero). I hope it will be a success! How I happen to get a proof copy? Ah, funny you should mention it... They used my translation of James' poem "My dear and only love", well the last six lines, actually. My apologies for weighing in so late...as I posted on another message, we've been out of town all week on vacation, and our condo was, I think, one of the few places left on this earth without internet access. LOL! So, congratulations back at you!! How exciting they used your translation of his poem! What a thrill!!! Can't wait to get my copies... :)

Thank you Veronica! I am reading it in German now and must say, the translation is quite good. And of course I am proud to see my words and my name in a *real* book. So, let's hope the book will be a great success. I have no idea, how "Master" sells over here, but I did notice, they have a huge pile of it in the store. Your German publisher, Weltbild, is actually a mail-order bookseller in the first place but they also run a couple of stores. And they have a lot of time-travel, romance, historical fiction. By the way: this is the link to "Master" on their website. Lots of enthusiastic reviews!
