I GOT MY LORD OF THE HIGHLANDS BOOK NA-NAH-NA-NAH

MUFUAHHAHAA!!! (mucho evil laugh). I got it!! I had to go to a few places to find it but I got it!! I was getting really irritated because it seems I was always a day late and dollar short on getting the book! Thank the Lord (ahem) Barnes & Noble in Deptford had it.

V...that quote before the prologue...brilliant. I love it.

LOL ... Hi girls, Sorry V I posted my thoughts on 'Lord' in another part of the Forum, not sure which one now!! ... story of my life at present LOL ... I thoroughly enjoyed it and ran the gamut of emotions, from laughing hysterically to full blown anger and frustration. Thank you for such a wonderful book. Sarah I can't wait until yours is published!! ... Yes Sarah, Empire Bay is quite pretty, it is like a sleepy little fishing village, nothing much occurs, it's right up my alley LOL ... I am such a nature lover LOL ... I will have to find photos and V would you let me know how to post them please, do I send them to you or what do I do???? :)

Gayle

Ok! It took me two and a bit days to finish 'Lord', is that all right Sarah!!!! ... LOL ... I do try LOL ... I love to read as much as I love to paint so you can imagine if I'm doing one the other suffers LOL and vice versa of course!! LOL :)

Gayle

That is acceptable Gayle!! LOL! Just sticking up for my girl is all! LMAO! Would love to see photos. DO you have them on your FB profile because we could look there?

~Sarah~

Thanks, Gayle!! So glad you liked it. And Sarah, that is too hilarious! So happy to see you enforcing our bylaws. :)

(giving a lovely curtsey) Anytime my lady!

~Sarah~

LOL ... Not at present I will take some photos and post them up for you. Don't hold your breath though because technology and I seem to talk different languages at times. LOL

Gayle

Hey V! Have you read/used for research 'Highland Scottish Folklore and Beliefs' by Calum MacLeod? I spotted it at the Book Depository site and wondered if you had used it. I haven't looked at it yet and it sounds great.

Gayle

Lizzie, sorry I think I answered your post somewhere else but I will answer here too. I checked with Borders and would have had to place a special order which was almost double the cost of the book. That was through the store. The chap who served me also said I could purchase from Borders on-line cheaper. His idea of cheaper was a couple of dollars. So I eventually went through the Book Depository and purchased it for AUD$7.86. Free delivery worldwide. Usually the book would have been anywhere from AUD$12.95 up to AUD$16.95. I think I did well.

Gayle

Oh Gayle the book depository is an excellent source for reading material! I am psyched that Sarah found my Castle book. But bummed too because I wanted to get it for her brand spanking new.

~Lizzie

Oh, no!! Bummer!! Never mind another opportunity awaits somewhere, sometime!! Isn't that a song title or something??? LOL xoxoxo :)

Gayle

Lizzie, thank you so much for thinking of me, I really appreciate it! Love ya! I can't wait to get it, it has been shipped so any day now!

~Sarah~

I can't wait until you get it. It has so many clans in it! I was shocked! 750 clans. Now Sarah do you think you can write a novel for each clan in the book? I challenge you! LOL!

~Lizzie

Challenge huh? I am so glad you think I am that good, but dang girl! How about I challenge you to get your book done, then we will compete!!!

~Sarah~

Oooo dang...why child you cut me to the quick! LOL!!!
I will roll my behind over to this corner over here and get to typing thank you very much! HMPH!

~Lizzie

LOL ... Go girls!!! ... LOL ... xoxoxo :o

Gayle

Dear Veronica,
Your "Highlands" series is wonderful. I wish there were men like Ewen, Rollo, Alasdair, and James Graham around...I wish I could meet someone like that. The closest I have ever come to that was my dad. He could have matched these men, gone shoulder to shoulder with them. Sigh.
Hugs and love,
Tina

Hi Tina! Thank you so much for the kind words! I wish there were more men like that around too...that's why I wrote these stories. It was my way to go back in time and imagine I was getting a peek. Hugs right back at you! :)
