I am re-reading book one in the Sign of Seven trilogy, by Nora Roberts. It is called Blood Brothers. This trilogy is a very good read. The other two books are called The Hollow and The Pagan Stone.

Dear Sarah,
What Lizzie is reading about --haunted castles and ghosts in Scotland--is true. There are lots of places in Scotland that are haunted, and documented as well.
One of these places is a cemetery in Edinburgh--where some of the ghosts are actually hostile, and have been known to scare modern visitors quite thoroughly. Some are benign, and their stories can be told if you are willing to dig to learn about events that made them 'haunt' certain places.
Considering how much history there is in Alba, I am not surprised that it is haunted...
As for books, currently I am between three books: LORD OF THE HIGHLANDS, WOLF WHO RULES by Wen Spencer, and THE IMMORTAL HIGHLANDER by Karen Marie Moning. Can't help it, I love to read...!

Hi Tina, Welcome aboard! I also have another book haunted places in Scotland also by Martin Coventry. Are you familiar with the author? He has done extensive research on the Scottish Clans. I love Martin's books because he gives history as well as the story telling of the factual crimes that took place. I just finished reading the story of the Laird that cut his wife in half. Really disturbing. He was found out years later and murdered as well.

I have alway found ghost stories fascinating and have quite a few books on ghost, hauntings. Most are based on actual murders not just a made up story.

Sarah, Martin is the author of the book I recommended to you that you just found. The book with 300 clans and their castle and seat holdings. You might want to pick these up as well.

Of course I not only wanted to read it but I am using it in my research as well.

Veronica, I am enjoying it. The translation is OK. As for your concept of James Graham, it is romance, after all, not a history book. And I wish I could write romance. I am trying hard.
