I AM READING LORD OF THE HIGHLANDS!!!! HAHAHAHAHA I got my copy, I got my copy (gee do you think I could get more childish?). Yeah I can. I got my copy, I got my copy, I got my copy.

I just finished THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins. SO amazing. It's a classic, for sure.

I finished LORD and am back to finishing ECHO. Yup, you heard it. I quit reading Diana to get a fix of Veronica's ROLLO!

~Sarah~

WOW--thanks, Sarah!! That's huge--LOL!

You are most welcome!

I am slowly trudging through Fallen. I have no idea why this is dragging for me. The story line is intriguing enough. sigh...

~Lizzie

Have any of you read Cindy Miles's books? I really like her work too. Cindy is also into Paranormal and I always get a giggle out of her books. I have recently read, 'HIGHLAND KNIGHT' and 'MACGOWANS GHOST' and LMAO, as you ladies say. LOL

Gayle

Cindy Miles? Never heard of her but if you recommend I will check her out.

I am ready very old Jude Deveareux books from the 1980's. The Highland Velvet series.

I find these books so vastly different from the Romance novels of today. Nothing is held back in terms of sex. No words really seem to be taboo in today's standards.

But reading these old books I find myself laughing "His manliness touched her womanliness"...I was reading that last night and went HUNH? just say what touched what! LOL too funny but a nice change of pace.

~Lizzie

I have Highland Velvet, but I didn't know it was a series! My favorite Jude Deveraux book is "A knight in shining armour!"

~Sarah~

What year was that written in Sarah? Maybe I will pick it up. She is a good writer it's just that you know the style is so old. LOL

~Lizzie

It was written in 1989. I reccomend it!

~Sarah~

Phoebe, do you read one at a time or more than one at a time??? You go through book in record time girl!!!!

Gayle

I sometimes read a print book and an e-book at one time but otherwise I only read one book at a time but I've heard from various people that I go through a book in record time.

Sarah, I love 'A Knight in Shining Armour'. When I first read it, it sent me for a loop, I kept getting lost. Having said that, I enjoyed the journey and could totally sympathise with poor Douglass. No matter what that woman did, it was never enough, you know!!! A great read, I thoroughly recommend it.

Gayle

Lizzie, I think Cindy Miles is a relatively new author. That may be why you have not heard of her.
What about Sara MacKenzie? She sometimes writes as Sara Bennett. I like Sara's 'Passions of the Ghost', 'The Return of the Highlander' and I'm about to start her 'Secrets of the Highwayman' which sounds enticing. LOL

Gayle

I'm not sure if I said congratulations on the completion of your book Sarah, so CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Is it time to break out the champagne yet, mummy!!!

Gayle

Well, though completing a book is reason enough, I am keeping my fingers crossed there will be another reason, that being I found an agent. I will keep you posted. Thank you for the kind words!
