We have yet again finished up using another reading thread. Now how many does that make...? Well now lets start fresh and tell us what you're currently reading.
I'm not sure what to read. :-| Close to deadline is always tricky! I HATE reading anything like what I'm writing when I'm in the final leg of my own project. I think I see a YA glut in my future...

I'm with you in the "final stages." I am at 91,327 words an d writng the fight/rescue scene. ACK!
You go, Sarah! You're closer to the end than I!!! Go go go! :) Still haven't decided what to read. Took a bath with Allure magazine last night--that's as challenging as I've been able to manage in the evening--LOL!!

I'm currently reading Sweet Spot by Susan Mallery and e-book Sweet Inspiration by Penny Watson.
Have we lost everyone besides me and Phoebe to Echo?! LOL. I'm still at a loss...at the verrrry end of my WIP, and feel a bit listless where choosing a book is concerned. So I'm going old-school--at least where my tastes are concerned--and just tucked into a ginormous fantasy novel, Gail Martin's The Summoner. We'll see... Beefy fantasy is sort of my moral equivalent of slipping into an old cardigan.

Lizzie, Diana said there would be one more and that was it. 8 books total, so we now have to wait 3 more years. Thank you on the congrats!
Pam, what did you think of ECHO? I am back to reading it again. I also want to thank you for all of your hard work in helping me! You're the best!

Bad news (or good news depending on how you look at it...) Diana has now amended the "8 books" to "possibly 9". lol. And if you read Echo, you'll understand...839 pages and we're only up to year 2 of the revolution. with roughly 3 years between books, by the time she finishes this series, I will have been reading it for 25 years.
It was VERY good, but I really suggest a re-read of Fiery Cross AND ABOSAA before reading...at least skim them. Echo is VERY involved, four different story lines, and gets a little confusing if you're not paying attention.

I have noticed that and I am always glad to hear there will be anotther book. It is one I hate to see ever end. I am having a horrible time not skimming ahead in the book to find out if Jamie and William ever meet and if it goes well!!! UGH! (Self control Sarah)

Oh I totally know what you mean. I absolutely have post-partum depression when I finish a project. My advice is to put the ms away for a couple weeks, clean up the house in some sort of crazy dramatic way, and open your mind to other projects right away. I get really droopy when I finish something, but have found that having something else to occupy me really helps cheer me up.

I haven't looked at it since I finished, but it is nagging at me. I know I need to get in there edit and get this ball rolling, so it is kinda hard to just let it sit, but I am doing it.

I'm currently reading From Friends to Forever by Karen Templeton.
So the past couple of days I've been on a reading streak with several different authors that I've had on my TBR pile for a long while. I really enjoyed reading Sabrina Jeffries historical romance Lord Trilogy very much since it's the first series that I've read by her and I'm going to have to check out some of her other books and series. I very much enjoyed Deirdre Martin's first book in her new Wild Hart Saga series since I read the short story that began the series in the anthology called Double the Pleasure. I'm very much looking forward to the next book in the series since I really fell in love with the characters and would love to see them again very soon. I was also catching up on the Silhouette Special Edition line with some of Karen Templeton's books and they were okay reads but a bit short for me after reading 300 pages or so books before reading her books. I know I don't write much except what I'm reading but once in a while I remember to post a bit about what I think of the books I've read though not in detail though.
Thanks Phoebe for reading these and keeping us posted. Do you ever read something then post on here that you didn't like it. Most of the time you just say you are reading somehting, once in awhile you will say that you did. How does your job work?

I have read at least one book that I didn't like all that much but I don't remember if I posted about it. I usually post my reviews on my blog because if I posted what I thought about every book I've read it could take up a lot of time that I don't have.
Are you liking it Sarah?! And Phoebe, is that PC Cast one of her vampire books? I read the first couple books in that series and enjoyed them.

I'm reading a new line called Harlequin TEEN and the book I'm reading is written by just P.C. Cast who also writes with her daughter Kristin in her famous House of Night vampire series. She wrote the Partholon series a long time ago and is now is being rewritten to be part of the Harlequin TEEN line.
I have emerged! I am done Echo. I wanted to drag it out. Lord only knows when the next book will come. I am left with..GOD IF I COULD ONLY WRITE LIKE THAT. I was literally jumping up and down the last 20 pages of the book.
Anyhoo....and now for something completely different I am reading Pamela Palmer - Untamed Desire. This is the first in a series.
